Tragedy of the Commons in the Ocean

In the attached video is a slow but extremely accurate portrayal of the over fishing industry. Why put up a video about over fishing when we are reading about Tragedy of the commons? Because it is a perfect example!

The Tragedy of the commons itself is the idea by ecologist Garrett Hardin which supports the idea of privatization of common land. This is because all common land will eventually be used up by the people without regulation. For my example of over fishing this very true.
